These area profiles provide key data about characteristics which may help with funding applications.

Most of the data in these reports is sourced from Census 2021 tables, but data is also included from the latest Mid-year population estimates from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), which gives a more up-to-date picture of the population, and a variety of other sources of data, on poverty, deprivation, crime and the economy.
Less detailed data is available at smaller geographical levels. Different data is available for LSOA 2021, which has lots of detailed data about population characteristics from the 2021 Census, and LSOA 2011, which has more detailed data about benefit claimants, deprivation, and children in low income families. It may be useful to look at both profiles for small area data. Most LSOAs did not change between 2011 and 2021, so data is available for both.
